The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) is organising an online training to support Pitch AgriHack semi-finalist start-ups to better design effective business models and interact with partners including potential investors.
Selected start-ups will be capacitated through the VC4A start-up academy, (eLearning platform). In addition, webinars and one-on-one conversations with experts are planned.
This support is provided by CTA as part of the capacity building and mentorship opportunities offered by the AgriHack Talent program.

- Unit 2: How to prepare an investor pitch deck
- Unit 3: Tips on presenting in public
- Unit 4: Questions to expect from investors
- Unit 5: Reasons why start-ups fail and the pivot
- Unit 6: An overview of different business models
- Unit 7: Business Model Canvas
Who is eligible?
Founders or Co-founders of semi-finalists start-ups that took part in the Pitch AgriHack 2019 edition are eligible for this training. At least 10 start-ups will be selected.
CTA will cover the participation costs of successful start-ups.
How to Apply?
The training will be offered in a 3-4 week period starting from 24 February to 16 March 2020 in English. Online modules can be followed at a flexible pace.
